The Associate programmes are taught by Chantry's resident or guest teachers who are some of the UK's leading dance educators.
Open to ages 6-21 divided into junior and senior groups.
Students are required to attend a AUDITION to join the Open Modern Dance Associate Programme. Auditions take place during a current Associate sessions. The audition is to assess whether the class is the correct level for the student, and also for them to experience the programme. We look for potential, passion and a strong sense of dedication to the art in all our students.
JUNIOR CLASS: Dates: Second Sunday of each month Time: 1:00-2:30pm Venue: Dance Pointe, 5 Swinegate, Grantham, NG31 6RJ Fee: £99 per year
SENIOR CLASS: Dates: Fourth Sunday of each month Time: 4:15pm-5:45pm Venue: Dance Pointe, 5 Swinegate, Grantham, NG31 6RJ Fee: £99 per year
Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts is a vocational British dance school and our standards are professional and exacting. We encourage students to commit fully to the demands of any Associate Programme they attend and present and conduct themselves accordingly.

Chantry School has been awarded Recognised School status by the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre, and has been awarded the Council’s certificate of good professional practice. Schools awarded CDMT’s Recognised School Award demonstrate that their pre-vocational courses adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard students in their dance training.
