Chantry Full Associates are taught to develop a strong technical base in ballet, contemporary and improvisation, as well as learning repertoire from major 20th and 21st century contemporary works. They are encouraged to develop their confidence and own individuality as a dancer.
Students are given the opportunity to take masterclasses with some of the UK's leading contemporary dancers. Guest teachers have included: Dominic North (Matthew Bourne's New Adventures) James Barton (Birmingham Royal Ballet soloist) Alessia Lugoboni (Royal New Zealand Ballet & Chantry Dance Company) Ian Parsons (Ballet de Monte Carlo & National Ballet of Canada) David Beer (Burklyn Ballet & Chantry Dance Company)

Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts has been awarded Recognised School status by the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre, and has been awarded the Council’s certificate of good professional practice. Schools awarded CDMT’s Recognised School Award demonstrate that their pre-vocational courses adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard students in their dance training.
